I memorized this scripture when I was a little girl, but I’m not sure I completely grasped it’s meaning back then.
What does it mean to delight yourself?
What is the desire of your heart? The key to obtaining it is to delight yourself in the Lord. Funny thing though. It seems that once you start delighting yourself in Him, your desires change a little. Pretty soon, all you want is more of Him and everything else becomes trivial!
I guess that’s why Psalm 34:8 says
Have you tasted of His goodness lately?
