Love Without End

I Corinthians 13-4-7 4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boiled over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.  5It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].  6It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.  7Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. 8Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].
The last part of this passage is the best. Love never fades, becomes obsolete or comes to an end. Romans 8:38-39 tells us 38For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. There is nothing that can cause us to be kept apart from God’s love. In spite of how inadequate we may feel, no matter how many times we mess up, regardless of whether or not we love Him back, God’s love is available for us without ceasing all the time! Romans 5:7-8 proves this by saying 7Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die.  8But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
This is a love that defies comprehension and it is the same love that is in us. This means that regardless of the actions of others, or whether or not they are worthy of our love, we have the capacity to love them. We just need to understand that we have that ability. Why? Simply, because it’s not our love, but God’s love in us. Get a revelation of that today, and show His love without end.
